Walt Disney World Halloween

The day we arrive at Disney World we do not plan to go to any parks. We have family who will be at the resort and are attending the Not So Scary party that night. If we buy tickets to the party, do we also have to use our park ticket to enter at 7?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sheila! How wonderful that you have planned a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this Autumn!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a blast! It’s a night when Disney’s most infamous villains take over the Magic Kingdom Park. It’s also a light-hearted and fun time for children, who get to see their favorite characters dressed up in their best Halloween looks. Don’t forget the trick-or-treating! It’s also the only time of year when adults are allowed to wear costumes to the park.

Sheila, I have great news for you! While you do have to purchase a ticket for this special event, you will not have to use up any of your regular theme park tickets (in addition to the special ticket) to attend. As a matter of fact, you will be able to enter the Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. (three hours before the party) with your special event ticket, even though the Halloween party begins at 7:00 p.m.

    I think that’s a pretty great value!

Don’t forget to enjoy the other fun Autumn offerings available to you during your Walt Disney World Resort visit. The 2018 Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing. You’ll also have the chance to play big at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the new Toy Story Land. I hear Slinky Dog really outdid himself with his new roller coaster!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue your planning! Don’t hesitate to drop by and see us if you have any additional questions!
