My daughters really love Moana and Vampirina, but I know they can’t be found right now. Will they be making appearances this spring? Are there any other new characters for us to look for that may not have been there when we visited 3 years ago?

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Meeting characters on their home turf is one of the most magical parts of a Walt Disney World vacation for my family and we're always most excited to find a new or rare character in the parks!

While Moana is currently out wayfinding, and Vampirina is busy getting settled into the Scare B&B, Walt Disney World has some new residents who I think you'll love meeting! Have you visited Anna and Elsa in their Royal Sommerhus in Norway? I love seeing all the artifacts and pictures from Anna and Elsa’s childhood and then meeting the sisters in their family retreat. On the way out, I highly recommend stopping at the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe for the scrumptious rice cream topped with strawberry sauce.

Sarah, my family really enjoyed the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast, which currently features Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider. There are special touches all over the place - be sure to ask Flynn what’s in his bag! Or, if your crew is interested in traveling to “a galaxy far, far away,” don't miss Star Wars Launch Bay. While Kylo Ren can be pretty intense, BB-8 and Chewbacca are absolutely adorable, and Chewie gives the best Wookiee hugs.

Character experiences are subject to change, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and your My Disney Experience app (search “Characters” from the top menu bar to see who’s available during your visit).

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
