Child at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

We want to take our daughters to BBB to get a make over together, that are nearly 6 years apart. I was about 5'11 at 12, would she get turned away for looking too old?

    Hi Holly,

There's something truly magical about getting to experience special moments at the Walt Disney World Resort with loved ones. It makes my heart really happy to think about both of your girls experiencing a princess makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique together!

Any princesses (or princes!) ages 3 to 12 are currently eligible to enjoy a royal transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, so as long as your daughter meets the age requirements, she's welcome to enjoy a visit there. If she does end up following in your footsteps and looks older than 12 when it's time for her visit, you may want to bring a photo of her birth certificate just for your own peace of mind. Do note that if she is quite tall and is wearing junior's or women's clothing, she likely won't find a dress there that will fit her properly. No worries, though! She is welcome to bring her own dress and change into it prior to her makeover with her Fairy Godmother-in-Training.

One other idea if you'd feel more comfortable is that both of your girls (and even YOU, too, if you'd like!) could enjoy a makeover experience at one of Disney's salons with the Character Couture packages. They're available for all Guests ages four and up, and you can each choose to take on the look of whatever princess, villain, or other Disney character inspires you!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Holly, and please feel free to bring us more questions as you're planning your trip! I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
