My daughter wants to be a Vet when she grows up. I was wondering if the medical center in Animal Kingdom lists scheduled procedures. Yes, there is a viewing area at the Conservation Center in the back. It would be cool seeing a live exam in August visit.

    Greetings, Robert!

How exciting to bring your daughter and future vet to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park--a place that celebrates animals and conservation everyday! She's going to adore all of the animal encounters and learning experiences throughout the theme park.

Conservation Station is a perfect place to begin your exploration. Not only is it home to many types of animals, but as you mention, there is a viewing window right into the Veterinary Treatment Room. Unfortunately, I don't believe they list the procedures happening on a given day beforehand, but I've heard that in the morning there seems to be more activity than later in the day and weekdays are the best.

Another experience your future animal doctor may adore is the special Caring For Giants Tour also at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Here you'll get up close with majestic elephants and learn what it takes to take care of them from dedicated animal specialists.

Have an amazing vacation, Robert, and please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with in planning your magical vacation.

    Pixie Dust,
