    Debbie Asked

Hi. My daughter and I will be visiting WDW in December and I was thinking of purchasing the Memory Maker. Can you please tell me what the difference is between the Memory Maker and the Photopass. Should I purchase both? thx

    Say Cheese, Debbie!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and sending us your great question about Memory Maker and Disney’s PhotoPass Service.

Disney’s PhotoPass Service is exactly that, a service. PhotoPass is not something you purchase. Memory Maker is a purchasable product. While visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you will find that Disney’s PhotoPass photographers are available in hundreds of locations throughout the Resort to capture your family’s photos and videos. You can view your PhotoPass photos and videos on the My Disney Experience mobile app or via MyDisneyPhotoPass.com.

Memory Maker is the product that you purchase in order to download all of your Disney’s PhotoPass pictures and videos. If you do not purchase Memory Maker, you can still view your media and choose to download them individually (for a fee), but it is more expensive to do it this way. I always recommend buying Memory Maker as it is a great value!

Mom’s Tip: If you pre-purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days before your vacation, you can save $20 off the price of Memory Maker!

Debbie, if you need any further clarification please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help sprinkle your vacation with extra Pixie Dust.

    Wishing you a Picture-Perfect Vacation,
