Hello! My daughter will be visiting Disneyland on a school trip and will need to have enough money for lunch and dinner on her own? How much do you suggest I send her with? Thanks!

    Hi Michelle,

    How exciting for your daughter!
I have a feeling this trip to the Disneyland Park alongside her school buddies will turn into a magical, memorable event!

As a mom, I know how important it is to make sure our kids don't skip meals and have enough to eat when they're away from us.
Fortunately, the Disneyland Resort offers a wide variety of dining options, from healthy quick service options that are delicious and easy on your wallet to unique and elaborate menus that require reservations up to 180 days in advance.

My advice has always been to budget an average of $20 per person, per meal for quick-service dining options. This amount would guarantee a complete meal during lunch and dinner. Here are some examples:

    * Fish & Chips with Apple slices and a drink at the Stage Door Cafe in Frontierland
    * Citrus-Fire grilled Chicken with rice, beans and a drink at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurant.
    * Bengal Beef Skewer, bacon wrapped asparagus, a fruit cup and a fountain drink at Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland.

You can always visit the Disneyland Parks Dining page to view the menus, most of which include meal prices.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
