My daughter is a vacation club member and we are going the first part of December for family members birthdays. She has us booked at pch will we get regular rooms or club level rooms and what type of coffee makers do they have in the rooms? Thank you!

    Hi Marie!

What a lovely daughter you must have to treat you to a stay at Disneyland! That is one of the wonderful things about Disney Vacation Club, is that it offers you the opportunity to share Disney with friends and family. I’m just a tad confused by the abbreviation “pch” but I’m going to take a guess that perhaps you meant “gch” or Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa which includes Disney Vacation Club Villas.

One of the other wonderful things about Disney Vacation Club is the flexibility. With Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points, you can book a variety of room types. The best value for her points would have been to book your family in The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. She would have the option of either a Deluxe Studio, or a 1, 2 or 3 Bedroom Villa. These rooms are not currently part of the Club Level rooms at the hotel. You could expect to find a kitchenette in the Deluxe Studios, or a full kitchen in the 1, 2 or 3 Bedroom Villas. Usually these rooms have a standard 12 cup coffee maker.

It is also possible to use Disney Vacation Club Points to stay in a standard resort room, and even to book a Club Level room. The number of points required to do this is a bit higher than a Deluxe Villa however, and I think it is less likely that she has booked you in this type of room.  I would check with your daughter and ask what type of room she has for you. I would be happy to tell you about all the wonderful features of your room once you know which type you’ll be staying in! Let me know how else I can help you as you plan your exciting birthday celebration.

    Have a Disney Day!
