My daughter is about to undergo a bone marrow transplant and her energy level is quite low. I wanted to know if there was a way to avoid lines so she can keep up her stamina. We went to Disney via MakeAWish 4 yrs a go and got a pass...is this possible now?

    Hi Cynthia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  A trip to Walt Disney World Resort will be such a special memory for your daughter and your family as you are going through such a difficult time with your daughter's health.  The pass you are describing would be the Guest Assistance Card and yes they are still available for guests in need.

When you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, head over to Guest Relations as you enter one of the four Theme Parks.  You will have to explain your daughter's condition to the Cast Member and they will decide what is the best type of accommodations for your daughter.  My husband requires a Guest Assistance Card, and we usually bring medical documentation (a note from his doctor explaining his condition), however we have never been asked for it.  I like to have it just in case.  You will then receive a red Guest Assistance Card that you will need to present to the Cast Members at each attraction before you enter the queue.  The Cast Member will guide you to an alternate entrance, or assist you in any way possible.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort with your daughter Cynthia.  Please let me know if you have any more questions, I would be happy to help.
