My daughter is going to be two months shy of being three when we cruise. Will she be able to participate in the kid clubs that are 3 and older?

    Hey, Tanya!

It seems that every time my family cruises I have a "borderline" child!  Yet, it becomes most crucial to determine your child's age and stage of life where your daughter will be -- simply for the fact that you move from nursery reservations to dropping into Disney's Oceaneer Club or Lab.

I can tell you when booking your reservation you'll have to provide your daughter's actual birthdate -- which will have her determined at age two.  Therefore, you'll want to make nursery reservations for her ahead of time -- either by calling (800) 951-3532 or online at DisneyCruise.com. However, if she is fully bathroom trained and within a couple of months of turning three, the youth activities club counselors may allow for her to participate in the Oceaneer's Club or Oceaneer's Lab. It's really going to depend on how many other children are already registered for those spaces, and your child's ability to play without one-on-one care in a large group setting with older kids. Yet, you really aren't going to be able to determine that until you're on board. Of course, you're welcome to participate with her in the activities and events at the older kids' clubs at anytime.

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
