If my daughter turns 10 April 29th, do we need to have our first date of our tickets span (were doing disney 3 days) to be the 28th? Or do we have to use all our kid priced tickets before the 29th?

    Hi Becky,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Wishes, sweet treats, and lots of laughter…nothing pairs better with birthday magic than a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Your daughter is going to have the BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER.

I’ve got great news for you: Guests of Mickey don’t age! If your daughter is 9 years old on the first day of your visit, she will remain 9 in the eyes of Mickey for the whole trip. You won’t need to worry about purchasing two different ticket categories – just purchase those child tickets for the last time (and I totally understand all your feelings on that one!) and spend your savings on birthday treats and souvenirs!

Don’t forget to pick up a Birthday Celebration button for your birthday girl at your resort hotel’s front desk or at any Guest Relations location - it’s a fun way to ensure she receives some extra birthday cheer throughout the trip. I also recommend letting your server know about the birthday celebration when you visit any Table Service restaurant. If you really want to go all out for her double-digit birthday celebration, take a look at Disney Floral & Gifts. Their Dream Makers can send customized birthday gift baskets filled with treats, flowers, and even special gifts to your resort hotel room. You can also order a special cake to be delivered to a restaurant or your hotel room – and I can confirm they are delicious!

Wishing your daughter a magnifi-TEN-t birthday, and all of you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
