My daughter is turning 10 and we have planned a surprise trip for her. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on place to eat, or special things to do at a park. I want to surprise her but not sure how to do that.

    Hi Elisa,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Birthdays at WDW are the best ones. Once you arrive, be sure to pick up a birthday button for her at your resort or guest relations at any of the theme parks. This is a great way to tell everyone that it is her birthday and you both will be amazed how many people will notice. Another great option is to check Disney Floral & Gifts website at their birthday’s section. They have many celebration packages to choose from and I’m sure you will find one that is affordable and fantastic at the same time. I once ordered a Minnie’s Birthday Balloon Bouquet and it was a huge success with my niece. You can order a special cake for her too; they will make and customize it especially for this occasion. You can order by calling the Disney cake hotline at 407-827-2253. As for restaurants, I have three suggestions: 1900 Park Fare, Tusker House Restaurant or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

    Have a magical vacation!
