    Ann Asked

My daughter will be turning 2 at Disney world when we visit in dec 2014. How strict are they on the 3 year age limit at the bippidi boppidi boutique?

    Hi Ann,

Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I remember when my daughter was turning two, she would point at the princesses who had experienced the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and ask when it was her turn to look like a princess.  As much as she wanted to be transformed at the boutique (as did I), Disney has these age restrictions for a reason.  Princesses are sitting in the chair for quite a long time, while the Fairy Godmother's in training use quite a bit of product, pins and sparkles to achieve that special princess look.  This experience is really suited for children over the age of three, if your princess was almost three, it may be ok, but since she is only turning two, I would suggest waiting until her next visit for her to experience the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

If you would like a makeover experience for younger children, I would recommend Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street U.S.A.  Here, children can have their hair styled with cute sparkles, or even cut, at a fraction of the price of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and will take less time as well.  Your daughter will have a magical experience and be much more comfortable too!

I hope my answer helps Ann.  Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.
