I have a daughter that will be 3 when we travel does she need a park ticket or is she free?

    Hi Brandie!

It is hard when the kiddos reach a Disney age milestone as it usually means they are going to cost you more. When the children reach the age of three they will then be charged for a Park Ticket and will require one for entry.

If your daughter is 2 at the beginning of the vacation then she will be granted free access during the entire time. But if she turns three before the trip then you will need a ticket as well as getting her the Fastpasses for the attractions. No matter what age your children are you will always need to include them in your dining reservation number.

It really hits the pocketbook when the kids become “adults” at the grand old age of ten for Disney tickets. My children are dealing with that now but know that it really doesn’t matter as they will always be coming back for more Disney pixie dust.
