    Heather from TN Asked

My daughter is three and this will be her first time visiting Disney World in February. Which character dinner/meal is a most see for a three year old little girl? I want to plan ahead and book all of our character dinners before we go. Thank You!

Hi Heather!  Character dining is so important for the little ones as it is the best place to see their favorites and not get trampled by other children at the same time!

My three year old grandson loves the Chef Mickey dining experience.  Here is a great place to see most of the major Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto.  The buffet is excellent with the dessert area being one of the best of any of the buffets on property!

For a princess experience you can book Akershus for the best number of characters you will see of the Cinderellas Royal Table for the experience of eating at the castle.  If your daughter loves the Winnie the Pooh characters then head to the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom.

Some of my other favorite character dining places include Donalds Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom Park and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue in Fort Wilderness. This is a dance party complete with a live country music band where the kids can dance all night with their favorite character.  If you have a shy child this isn't the best place as the bolder children tend to elbow their way to front and center leaving the shier kids in the background.

These are just some of my favorites but really all character dining is great and your child will enjoy any of them!
