If my daughter is staying at another resort, can she still come to our resort to use the pool with her children who are staying with us and spend the entire day?

    Hey, Michelle!

I am so glad to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As Walt Disney said, “We believed in our idea – a family park where parents and children could have fun- together.” This theme flows over to the Resort hotel pools.

Your family will have a fantastic time at the Lava Pool at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Every adult should make sure to go down the 142 foot-long water slide and relax in the hot tub that overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle in the distance.

Please note that pool hopping is not allowed at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. In your case, because you are a Resort hotel Guest and your family is joining you, you should have no issues.

There is one exception to this rule as of now. Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club is only for Guests of those Resort hotels. It is very popular with the Flying Jib pirate ship water slide, sand bottom pool and lazy river. Each Guest is checked for proper Resort ID at the entrances to the pool area.

Disney Dad Tip: Pineapple Lanai, at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, is a special place because you can get the famous, Dole Whip. If you have not tried this delicious treat then you are missing out on a classic Disney experience.

Michelle, enjoy making many Magical Memories with your family!
