Hi moms! My daughter and I will be staying at the Grand Floridian in celebration of her 30th birthday! This is a mother / daughter trip.. no grand kids, no spouses! We have park hoppers and Deluxe Dinning. Now to plan - what to make this more magical?

Hi Linda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You have put together a fantastic vacation package for celebrating your daughter's 30th birthday! You are both going to feel pampered at your beautiful Disney Resort hotel and you have chosen my favorite (and most used) dining plan, the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan.

My first suggestion is to make sure to take advantage of all of the Table-Service meal entitlements you will get as part of the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. With three Table-Service meal entitlements per person, per night of your stay, I actually recommend using snack credits for breakfast, one Table-Service credit for lunch, then using two Table-Service credits per person and dining at a Signature location for dinner. My personal favorite spot is California Grill in Disney's Contemporary Resort. Do yourself a favor and order the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli ... it is out-of-this-world delicious!

Next, check out Disney Floral and Gifts for an extra bit of celebration. Their cakes are delicious, but all of their items are extra special! Having seen some magical moments created by this department first-hand, I can tell you that princesses of ALL ages enjoy these creations!

I can't go without mentioning time spent at Senses - A Disney Spa located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I think a day of pampering, followed by dinner and a glass of champagne at California Grill while watching Happily Ever After fireworks display right outside the restaurant windows sounds pretty perfect!
