    Sabah from WV Asked

Hi my daughter she will be 6 years old 22 this month I was planning to surprise her and take her to Disney what you guys suggested thanks for advance.

    Dear Sabah,

Thank you so much for stopping by to say hello to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning a surprise trip for your 6 year-old daughter!

Six is such a magical age to travel to the most magical place on earth, so I think that's a wonderful idea! I'm not sure from your question if you meant that you just wanted to take a one-day trip just for the day of her birthday, or if you are thinking of planning a longer trip or a trip in a few months.

If you are thinking of a one-day trip, I recommend taking her to the Magic Kingdom and riding some classic attractions! Download the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device, and after selecting your tickets, you can make your FastPass+ selections for the day. These can be made up to 60 days in advance if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, or up to 30 days in advance if you are staying outside of Walt Disney World Resort property.

Be sure to arrive early to maximize your time there. As the day goes on, the lines can get longer, so an early start is key! At the entrance to the park, pick up a Happy Birthday button and your little princess is sure to get a lot of "Happy Birthday" greetings throughout the day!

If she likes princesses or mermaids, I might suggest a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or at The Pirates League! Then, perhaps you can make an Advanced Dining Reservation at a character meal. You might consider Be Our Guest Restaurant or the Crystal Palace!

There are so many fun options for a magical birthday celebration! Have fun planning!
