My daughter is 10 and is on the regular adult dining plan with my husband and I, but most likely will not eat the food available on the adult menu. Can we order her meals off of the kids menu and pay cash for them and then use the extra credits later?

Howdy Dana!  Thank you for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love the Disney Dining Plans and the versatility when using it.  Depending on the Dining Plan you choose, you will have a number of entitlements for snacks, Quick Services, and Table Service experiences allotted for your Walt Disney World Vacation Package.  You will be able to use the entitlements as you chose for each dining experience.  The entitlements begin upon your arrival day and can be used until 11:59 p.m. on check out day of your Dining Plan Vacation Package.  Your daughter will be fine ordering off the quick service menu for ages 9 and under but for all Table Service Restaurants you will need to speak with your server.  Also, if dining at a buffet you would pay the buffet price for ages 10 and over.

Your vacation is just days away!  I know you are excited to see all of the new things going on throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!  There are lots of new dining experiences that have recently opened throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  I know you will find many yummy things to try!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We are always here if you have any more questions, Dana!

    Happy Packing!
