My daughter recently dislocated her ankle and she not able to put to much pressure on her ankle... We been planning a trip to Disneyland for couple of months and as she not able to walk can we get the disable pass? What would i need to to apply for this?

    Greetings Juana,

I'm thrilled you will be making a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth soon. I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's injury… sending her happy thoughts and pixie dust.

With your daughter's recent injury, the Disneyland Resort has wheelchair and ECVs available for rent for use in both Disneyland Resort theme parks. Here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.

The Disability Access Service (DAS) Card is designed to accommodate Guests who aren't able to wait in a conventional queue environment due to disability (including non-apparent disabilities). You will visit the main entrance Guest Relations to discuss your child's special needs and concerns with the Cast Member to see if the Disability Access Service Card (DAS) would benefit your child's needs.  This is determined case by case. The child's photo will be taken for the issued card. The Cast Member will review all the guidelines of the DAS card with you.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted visit. If you have any more questions, please visit me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
