My daughter really wants to take part in the Midship Detective Agency on the Fantasy. She is 8. Is she still able to do this? I'm unsure of the details or how it works exactly. Is there any kids club activity that is a scavenger hunt? Thanks so much!

    Hello again Cherise –

I am trying my best to get to your questions before you take off on the Disney Fantasy. As I mentioned earlier, I just returned from a “Dream”y cruise myself and we had a great time participating in the Midship Detective Agency. Our entire family did this activity together, and I even saw some adults playing without children so there are no age restrictions to this game. On Deck 5 Midship, you will find the Midship Detective Agency desk with game cards, a map of the ship and pencils to write down your clues. The instructions will be clearly stated on a video screen there at the desk, and by following clues on the map, your pirate crew will be able to scour the ship for clues to solve the case. There are three possible cases – one involving the Muppets, and the others involving 101 Dalmatians and Mickey and the gang. The cases are subject to availability and may differ between the ships. Our family decided the do the Muppets since we were on a 3-day cruise.  Because you are on a 7-day cruise, your pirate fairy princess may have time to do them all. As far as other scavenger hunts on the ship, I did not see any announcements in the Personal Navigator, but my daughter participated in a hunt sponsored by the Edge club for tweens. Cherise, I am sure that your entire family will enjoy the Midship Detective Agency because we sure did. Happy sailing to you!
