My daughter and I are planning 2 trips to DW--one in Oct and one in March. We are looking at Annual passes. If we order them online, when does the year start? We may want to go again Oct 2015. Does it start the first time we use them in the park?

    Greetings, Donna!

Being an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World® Resort will open up a whole new world of magic for you! With unlimited entrance into the theme parks with no blackout dates or limitations, you are free to visit as many times as you'd like within your pass year.

Your passholder year will begin the day you redeem your purchase order for the actual pass from guest services. Not from the day you purchase, or from the day you first use it at the parks. For example, if you purchase your pass today, and then redeem and obtain your actual pass October 1st, but do not use it to enter a park until October 5th, your "year" will being October 1st.

In addition, Annual Passholders are offered discounts on dining, merchandise and resort hotels. Not to mention other seasonal perks like discounted La Nouba™ tickets and early registration opportunities for the runDisney race series - just to name a few! You can also select the highlighted link above to view ways you can make the most of your Annual Pass.

I hope this helps, Donna! Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have. We are here to help!

    Happy Park Hopping!
