My daughter and I plan to take a Disney cruise to celebrate her graduation from college. Is it possible to request a table in the dining room for just the two of us versus sharing a table with other parties.

    Hi there, Kay!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  What a fun graduation celebration for both your daughter AND you!  I can’t think of a better place to celebrate that kind of accomplishment, especially before your daughter embarks on a new journey!

I just love dining in the main dining rooms during rotational dining.  Not only do you get to enjoy delicious food, but you also get such a treat with the themed restaurants, menus and sometimes even entertainment or appearances by special friends!

I completely understand your desire for a smaller, more intimate dinner table seating for you and your daughter and suggest that you contact Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951 – 3532 to make your request.  I would recommend doing this sooner than later, but definitely at least one week prior to your sailing.  Your request cannot be guaranteed, but Disney Cruise Line does a really great job of trying to accommodate whenever possible!

Since you will be traveling as two adults, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of some of the exclusive adult-only options onboard such as adult-only dining and Senses Spa.  You can pre-book these activities prior to your sailing or check availability once onboard.  Also be sure to look at some of the adult-only departures or excursions available through Port Adventures when calling to different ports of call.

I wish you a wonderful sailing with many happy memories and lots of celebrating!

    Happy Sailing!
