My daughter who is 21 and myself are going on a 9 day dream vacation in May 2015. We have planned and reservations for many character dinners/breakfasts / are we going to be able to get pictures with the characters because we are adults?

    Hello, Sharon!

A mother daughter trip sounds like an absolutely wonderful idea. You will have an amazing time! You and your daughter can absolutely meet characters and have your photos taken with them. As a matter of fact - I encourage it! You can even ask for their autographs if you would like. I am pretty sure there is no such thing as 'age' once you are on Walt Disney World property.

If you think you will be doing many character meet and greets, I strongly recommend purchasing Memory Maker. This will allow you to download and keep forever every single picture taken during your vacation by Disney PhotoPass photographers at character meetings and throughout the Theme Parks. You also can download all ride photos that are taken of the two of you at select attractions that offer ride photos. I find it an incredible value, as it is so nice to have every picture - I don't have to chose from just a few favorites.

Wishing you and your daughter a magical vacation, Sharon!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
