My Daughter will be 1 month away from turning 18 when we sail with Disney Dream September 2016, Will she be allowed to go with us to the adult areas on the ship and the adults only beach on castaway cay?

    Ahoy Missy –

Thanks for cruising by for a visit here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so pleased to hear that you will be experiencing the Disney Dream with your teenaged daughter very soon.  Disney Cruise Line has a way for families to reconnect, and there are so many activities and fun family events that you will be able to share with her. Unfortunately, she will not be allowed to enter the adult only spaces on the ship or Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay until she actually turns 18. I think the two of you could definitely bond together on the family beach and in the family pool areas.  I love spending time with my daughter in the Senses Spa to get pedicures, and we also reconnect doing zany activities like BINGO, Karaoke and game shows. Uniquely on the Dream is Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats, where you can share a yummy sundae with your special teen. Your daughter will also have the chance to meet other teenagers at Vibe, which you could both enjoy together during the Open House sessions.  Missy, a trip on the Dream is truly an unforgettable time, and I hope that you have a fabulous vacation with your princess this fall.
