My daughter will be 8 this May and would like to spend her birthday at WDW. Do you have any suggestions on how can we make this week/day special for her?

How wonderful!!  We celebrated our oldest daughter's 7th birthday at Disney World.  I had called a few weeks before and made a reservation at Chef Mickey's for her birthday dinner.  Mickey Mouse delivered her birthday cake to the table.  The look on her face was priceless.  We also called ahead and asked the hotel to have balloons in her room when we checked in.   When you go to the different parks stop by any Guest Relations desk and pick up an identifying pin that tells the world it's your birthday, in this case your daughter's, throughout the day, your daughter will be showered in pixie dust.  Cast members wishing her happy birthday, and ask how old is she now? It's a birthday she won't forget.  She can wear the pin for the rest of the week. So, her birthday will go on and on.  Heather M.
