My daughter in law went to Disneyland last wed but I want to buy her a pass. Can she use any or all part of that ticket toward pass

Hi there, Sharon! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I hope your daughter-in-law has enjoyed a magical experience at the Happiest Place on Earth! What a lucky gal she is to have you supporting her love for Disney with the purchase of an Annual Passport! A regular theme park ticket can be applied toward the purchase of an Annual Passport as long as the purchase is made by the last day of ticket admission. So, for a one-day ticket, Guests need to upgrade by midnight on the day of their visit to the Disneyland Resort. For a multi-day ticket, Guests need to upgrade on or before the last valid day of their ticket.

Here’s how it works: If these rules above apply to your daughter-in-law, she can upgrade her theme park ticket to an Annual Passport by using the Disneyland app, or by visiting any Disneyland Resort Main Entrance ticket booth. At the ticket booth, she would need to show her valid theme-park ticket, valid government-issued photo ID, proof of residency (if upgrading to a Disney Southern California Select Passport) and provide payment for the difference in price between the theme-park ticket and the Passport.

If your daughter-in-law is a resident of Southern California, she may want to check out the Disney Southern California Select Passport, which is valid for residents living in ZIP codes 9000-93599. The Disney Flex Passport is the newest Annual Passport, and is similar to the Southern California Select, though it also includes reservation-required dates during some holidays and other peak days. Take a look at the handy comparison tool on the Annual Passholder page to weigh the pros and cons and determine which Passport may work best for her!

I’ve been an Annual Passholder at the Disneyland Resort for many years, and I love the flexibility and magic it has provided myself and my family! Each visit, we enjoy focusing on different attractions, shows, and treats, which keeps us coming back for more.

I hope this helps. Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!

    See ya' real soon,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
