My daughter will be 6 when we go to WDW. How much of the Board Walk is geared toward children? Would it be better to take her during the day or evening?

    Hi Dawn,

The Boardwalk is a minor dining and entertainment area. It's not constantly teeming with life like Downtown Disney is. Other than eat, there's not much for anyone to do during the day. In the evening, more activities become available. For adults, the Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls piano bar open. For children, the evening offers strolling free entertainment such as magicians and musicians. They also open up some carnival-type games if chance. Overall, it's a pleasant place to wander and take a stroll in the evening if you're staying in the area or headed there to eat anyway, but I'm not sure I'd make a special trip over otherwise.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
