My daughter is going to Disneyworld in 2 weeks with her high school and will have her 18th birthday while she is away. What can you recommend I can send to her? Also could I send her a gingerbread house? Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vicki! How exciting that your daughter gets to enjoy the magic of a Walt Disney World vacation with her friends from school! I'm sure it must be bittersweet for you to know she'll be away from you on her 18th birthday, but what a great opportunity for you to surprise her with a magical gift waiting for her in her resort room! I'm sure that it will be something she'll remember forever!

Check out the multitude of options available from Disney Floral and Gifts. The have so many birthday gifts and celebration packages available for all price levels, so I'm sure you can find one that fits your budget and your daughter's style the best. Imagine her returning from a magical day in the parks with her friends to be greeted with a surprise from Mom and Dad waiting on her bed to say "Happy Birthday!" What a treat! It will make it even better that she'll enjoy it with her best friends!

When my family and I have been surprised with gifts in our room from friends, it's made such an impression on us, and memories we'll remember forever! There's something so special about knowing someone back home is thinking of us as we're off enjoying the magic of Disney! In fact we were there last week and were surprised with a fun Disney cooler stocked with snacks from friends waiting for us in our resort room!

I don't see any gingerbread houses available in the current Christmas packages but you could send a gift from home with a gingerbread house and have it delivered to her resort room, as long as you list her name with the word "Guest", resort, and arrival date on the package.

Have fun planning this surprise for your daughter, Vicki!
