    Megan from RI Asked

Our daughter has been diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. We were interested in the Disability Access Service Card (DAS). Would we be able to get the card the day before we go into the parks? If we check-in on a Sunday but start the parks on a Monday.

    Hello, Megan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I understand how important it can be to our Mouseketeers to have everything ready the day before so you can begin your magical day as soon as the theme parks open. However, in my experience, the initial Disability Access Service (DAS) is usually issued by a Cast Member at a Guest Relations Lobby located inside the theme parks. You could visit one of the Guest Relations Windows outside the admission area to see if your DAS request can be processed there. I have been able to update my son's DAS at a window during past visits, but in recent months a few friends have reported that Cast Members directed them to the inside Lobby for DAS assistance. The DAS registration process is relatively quick, so even if you must complete the request on your first day, you should be on your way in a matter of minutes. Be sure all members of your party are present as DAS will be associated with theme park admission media (MagicBand or cards).

I hope you can get your daughter's DAS early. Please let me know if you have additional questions.

    Happy Planning!
