Hi, my daughter is crazy for star wars and really would like to meet Princess Leia on our upcoming trip to Disneyland (July 2016). I am just wondering which characters typically are available for meet and greets, and how to make sure we see everyone we can

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cheryl. I’m glad you’ve stopped by again with another great question for us!

Be sure to stop by Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland. Though your daughter will not be able to meet Princess Leia, she can come face to face with Kylo Ren or give a big hug to Chewbacca. Don’t miss Hyperspace Mountain, a must-do for any Star Wars lover!

Besides Chewbacca and Kylo Ren, there are numerous other characters to meet-and-greet throughout Disneyland Park and California Adventure. While character experiences are subject to change, commonly seen favorites at Disneyland Park include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Mary Poppins and Bert, and the Princesses like Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, and Snow White. Hop over to California Adventure and you’ll be able to see Oswald, Spider-Man, Captain America, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater, as well as Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jesse. Newly added are Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia!

Mom’s Tip: Prior to your arrival, download the Disneyland mobile app and you’ll be able to find information on Character meet-and-greet times and locations. You can also look up ride wait times and FastPass distribution times. It’s easy to plan your day at the parks with this handy tool!

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a magical upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Cheryl. Please come back to visit me on the Panel if you have further questions.

    Sending you Pixie Dusts,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
