    Bernice Asked

Our daughter is 11 and has a cognitive disability and a problem with textures in some foods. We have table reservations for our next trip but she doesn't like a lot of the usual adult food. Can we order from the kids menu for her even if she is over 9?

    Hello, Bernice,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your daughter is welcome to order off the children's menu at any of the restaurants.  In fact, when we visited with my mother a few years ago, she ordered most of her meals off the children's menu as she wanted smaller servings.

Please know that if you are using the Disney Dining Plan that your daughter will still using adult dining credits. If you aren't, you may be charged an adult price at a table service restaurant but in turn will likely be given a larger portion.

Wishing you a magical trip!  If we can help with any further questions, please let us know. -Kara
