Our daughter will be celebrating her 12th birthday at Disney this August. Any suggestions on a good restaurant for dinner that would be fun for a 12 year old?

    Hi Christine!

Happy birthday to your princess!  My daughter is 13 and enjoys calling herself Disney's Teenage Expert...so I asked her for her recommendations to see if they matched mine.

We both think that you should take her to a dinner show.  The terrific live entertainment makes a dinner into a party.  Here is a link that will describe each dinner show.   She chose Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue, and I agree.  They are all wonderful and I know she'll love her celebration.

You can also call Disney's Cake Hotline at (407)827-2253 to order a personalized cake for your daughter.  There are a variety of cakes and themes to choose from, and it will be delivered right to your table.  Please give them a few days advance notice so they can add their pixie dust to their designs.

    Have a wonderful celebration!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
