I have a daughter who broke her ankle skiing last weekend. We are scheduled to visit Disney World on Easter. With the pain and swelling , I'm considering cancelling our trip. Would she qualify for a wheelchair? Is there a place to ice her ankle?

    Hi Joreen,

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's broken ankle. The good news is that she can still enjoy her Disney vacation. You'll want to stop by Guest Services upon your arrival at the parks. Speak to them about a Guest Assistance Card which will make it easier for her to navigate the parks. In addition, wheelchair rentals are available for your convenience. These are $12 daily or $10 per day for a multi-day rental. Each park has a First Aid Station which you can visit for your daughter to ice her ankle.

I am wishing you a wonderful vacation and I hope that your daugther heals quickly. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
