My daughter bought a magic band two years ago. She used it with her family. How can I connect her band to my account so she doesn’t have to buy another?

    Hi Greg,

Ohmygoodness, you have less than ONE WEEK until your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins! You have to be practically BURSTING with excitement, and I hope that you're having fun packing and thinking about all of the magic and fun you'll enjoy on your trip.

Once a MagicBand has been linked to one My Disney Experience account, it cannot be moved. Since your daughter already had an account, you'll actually want to leave all of her information there...her tickets, FastPass+ selections, MagicBands, etc. MagicBands are reusable as long as their batteries are still operating, so if she still has one from a prior trip, she'll be able to use it to access all of the plans within her My Disney Experience account. To be able to plan with her, you'll want to follow these handy dandy steps to link together via the Family and Friends list within My Disney Experience. Once you're linked together via the Family and Friends list, you'll be able to make dining, Resort hotel, or FastPass+ plans together, view each other's Disney PhotoPass photos, and even share one Memory Maker purchase.

If you've already created a new profile for her under your account, I'd recommend calling a Cast Member who specializes in My Disney Experience at (407) 939-4357 and he or she could help you merge all of her information into one place so that going forward she doesn't have to worry about whether or not her plans got to the correct profile.

Thanks so much for visiting us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Greg, and please let us know if we can help with anything else. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation next week!
