My daughter is allergic to scented laundry detergent. Does Disney wash their bath towels and bed sheets in unscented detergent? If not, is this something that I can request before we arrive? If so, who do I contact?

Hello Jill and thank you for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
As the Mum of a Mouseketeer with Atopic Eczema I completely understand your very valid concerns about your darling Princess and her allergies to scented laundry detergents; I know only too well how these things can easily upset a sensitive person's delicate skin.
I'm so happy to be able to share with you that even though all laundry at Walt Disney World Resort is usually washed in scented detergent Guests are able to request a 'Special Clean' to help meet their particular needs.
It's super easy to request a 'Special Clean' -
Approximately 1 week before Resort check-in call and make the special request by speaking to a helpful Cast Member on the telephone number for Non-Reservation Questions contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.  Discuss and fully explain to the Cast Member assisting the specifics of your daughter's detergent allergy and how Mousekeeping can best help her avoid a reaction during your stay.  Plus be sure to have close to hand your Disney Resort hotel confirmation numbers and so on.
Wishing you and your Princess a pixie (allergy-free) dusted visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
