My daughter has ADHD and its hard for her to wait long periods of time do you have any tips on how to make easier on her when we are waiting in the lines to go on the rides?

    Hi Dawn!
Waiting in line is never easy for anyone, but I can understand how much harder it can be for someone with ADHD.  I would recommend taking advantage of the Fast Pass tickets.  Fast Passes are available for anyone, and you will need to put your Park Ticket into a Fast Pass Kiosk and will get another ticket with the time that you an return to the attraction and not wait in line.  The most popular attractions will have Fast Passes available.  You can obtain another Fast Pass after the one has expired or sometimes sooner than this.  I would also recommend playing Disney Trivia in line.  There are also interactive queues like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and The Haunted Mansion that are so much fun as well.  Many smart phones have Apps that can help entertain your child.  We have a Hidden Mickeys App that my children love to play as well.  We have been know to sing songs in line to pass the time, and my girls love to play hand games like "Say, Say Little Playmate, Come out and Play with Me."  I have seen people use Nintendo DS games in line as well as watching a movie on their phone and playing cards in line.  My family also loves to talk about their day and the rides we want to go on.  I would bring a Park Map in line and have her look through it and figure out your day.  I find that the times in line can go very quickly, even if you have an attention problem.  I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Dawn.
