Have the dates been set for Mickey's Not So Very Scary Halloween Party for 2012? Has anyone been on the Wild Africa Trek?

Hi Marsha, We still have no word on the dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We're expecting them soon, so keep checking back. I've been on the Wild Africa Trek twice, once with a group of adults and once with my pre-teen children. This is one of my favorite behind-the-scenes experiences at Walt Disney World. The Trek has several parts. - You are harnessed into a vest that allows you some up close viewing of the hippos. The safety vest allows you to hang at the very edge of the hippo habitat. - You walk through a forested area at the MK to learn about animals. - You walk over a series of rope bridges suspended over the savanna. - You hang at the edge of the crocodile enclosure. - You have an AMAZING snack on the savanna while observing the animals. - You get a slow tour of the Kilimanjaro Safari and are allowed to stop and take photo. With so much to do, I was fully engaged at all times. Definitely a worthwhile activity!
