what dates are scheduled for the Christmas special event 2017

    Hi Camille,

I believe you are asking about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a special ticketed event that takes place on select nights in November and December at Magic Kingdom. The party has tons of special activities, including the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade, a holiday version of Wishes and even snow on Main Street. The dates for that party are usually announced in late spring. I can tell you the event normally begins in early November and continues a few times a week until just before Christmas.

There are tons of other special events around Walt Disney World for the holidays. At Epcot, the Holidays Around the World celebration, which includes the inspiring Candlelight Processional, usually starts the day after Thanksgiving and continues through New Year's Eve.

You'll also find holiday celebrations in the resorts and at Disney Springs and the other parks. The newest,, which premiered in 2016, was the Starbright Holidays drone show at Disney Springs.

I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog this spring for announcements of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates and other holiday events. Or feel free to check in with us frequently for updates.

    Enjoy,
