    Scherron from MI Asked

Hi Mom's and Dad's My family will be visiting WDW in August 2014. We are staying at the WL woods view. I wanted to know which floor is the best to view the MK fireworks because, I heard that you could see them from some of the rooms. Thank you

    Hello Scherron,

I must say you have chosen very wisely in the resort department! Disney's Wilderness is my all-time favorite resort at Walt Disney World. I have stayed there many times and simply love every part of it. The moment you walk into the breathtaking lobby and look upward, you will be awe-struck. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the location is fantastic being so close to Magic Kingdom, but somewhat removed and nestled back for a more quiet feel.

The Magic Kingdom is off the north end of the resort which is the side of the hotel with Roaring Forks, Whispering Canyon Cafe and Artist Point rather than the side with the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile. Keep in mind that the 6th or 7th (concierge level) floors are probably the most probable to having some view of Magic Kingdom and Wishes Fireworks, but many of these views could be slightly obstructed through trees or just above the tops of some of them. Requests could be made for this area of the resort, but these requests cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability upon check-in.

I hope this helps and I hope you get the view you are hoping for.
