Hi Moms & Dads, I'm interested in the Disney Photo plans. I've used PP in the past (didn't know there was PP +) but now they've added Memory Maker. Can you explain the differences in all the options and explain how a large group can share the experi

    Hi Wendy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  When I'm visiting Walt Disney World with my own family, I try to get as many pictures of the trip as I can, so I'm a big fan of the Disney PhotoPass Service.  I especially love that it helps us get photos of the whole family together, plus candid shots with characters and on attractions.  Best of all, the service is completely complimentary.  Since you're familiar with the Disney PhotoPass Service already, you know the basics - just find a photographer, have your photo snapped and then show your Disney PhotoPass Card or MagicBand to have those pictures added to your account.  Once you're home, you can log onto the website to see the photos and purchase any individual pictures you like.

Memory Maker, which has replaced PhotoPass+, utilizes the Disney PhotoPass Service and builds on it.  By purchasing Memory Maker, you get digital copies of ALL of those magical vacation memories on your account for one price.  It's completely digital, so you can view and share your photos just minutes after they're taken using your mobile device.  Once you're home, you'll then be able to download the digital files and have them printed using any service you choose.  This is actually a great choice for large travel groups since you'll be able to link together all of your friends and family through My Disney Experience, which means everyone's photos will be included, and there's no limit to the number of photos you can have added to your account.  If you're interested in Memory Maker, the most affordable option is the advance purchase, which requires a 3-day waiting period before you can start adding photos.  You'll then have 45 days from when the photo was taken to download it off your account.

I hope that helps answer your question!  Wishing you a most magical vacation!
