Hi Moms and Dads! This year the MVMCP ends on 12/19/14. Is it safe to say that on the next day, 12/20/14 we can see the special christmas parade during regular park hours? And any other xmas activities in MK?

    Hi there, Jacqueline!

In previous years, once the last Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has taken place, Guests have been treated to seeing Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade during regular Park hours. I definitely wouldn't bet the ranch on it though, because schedules and live entertainment are always subject to change. When I take a peek at the online calendar for the 20th, I do not see Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade on the schedule that day. You'll be able to find out for sure as it gets closer by picking up a Times Guide on your way into Magic Kingdom Park.

I absolutely love visiting Magic Kingdom Park during Christmastime because you never know what you're going to see. The folks who plan all of the magic are also busy trying to make sure that the element of surprise still exists which is part of the reason why the posted schedule doesn't give much away. In prior years, Guests have been treated to visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus posing for pictures on Main Street, U.S.A. Some of the Quick Service locations around the Park have special treats just for the holidays too. Be sure to stop into the Main Street Confectionary and check out the candy apples!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question and please don't hesitate to let us know if we can help with any additional questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
