Hi Moms and Dads!! Our DS 11 has severe ADHD. We are staying at the Pop 8/12-/19. Can any one tell me the best rooms in the 90's or 70's that would not be preferred but are still close to the transportation. Thank you! You guys are great!

    Hi Deborah,

We have something in common!  I have an 11 year-old son too.  He stayed with me at Disney's Pop Century Resort just a few weeks ago and loved it.  I bet your son will love this larger-than-life resort also.

When we were there in May, we stayed in a standard room in the 90's section of Pop Century.  It was a significant walk across the parking lot to reach Classic Hall and the bus stops.  I heartily encourage you to request a room in the 70's section of the resort instead. I've heard that some of these rooms have delightful views of Hourglass Lake.  You are likely to save your family some steps if you are there instead of in the 90's section.  With a standard room, you are guaranteed to be at least 500 feet from Classic Hall, but there are still some standard rooms within a reasonable distance of the bus stops.

Wishing your family a magical vacation at Walt Disney World next month!  Let me know if you have any additional questions about Disney's Pop Century Resort or need fun suggestions for traveling with an 11 year-old boy.  You can post future questions here, if you like.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
