Hi Moms (and Dads)! We are planning a trip for March 2017 to Walt Disney World. It will be our son's first trip, he'll be almost 2. We can't wait and are wondering when the dates will be open to book for then? Thanks!

    Hi Stacy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting! You are going to make some very special "pixie dusted" memories with your little prince!

You may book a room-only Resort Hotel Reservation 499 days prior to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort require a deposit of one night's stay plus taxes so, the deposit amount will vary depending on the Resort Hotel that you choose for your visit.

At this time, 2017 Walt Disney World Resort rates/offers have not yet been announced. In previous years, rates for the following year have been announced anywhere from late June to early August. I would keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for updates and information about when 2017 package rates and special offers will be available for booking. I recommend booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Should you book your Resort vacation and special offers are announced after you have booked, a Planner can assist you in re-booking so that you can take advantage of any discounts or special offers.

Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
