Moms & Dads, need some advice. Just returned from WDW in May. While there joined DVC & now taking a 3-Night cruise in 10/10. After the cruise will spend 2 nights at AKL. Not sure if we want to do parks again. What do you suggest I do with 3 days?

Hi, Allison!  Welcome home! (you'll hear that a lot now that you belong to the Disney Vacation Club!)

If you don't want to do the theme parks, there really is plenty to do during your three day stay at Walt Disney World.  We love the Downtown Disney area, and often plan a day just to browse the shops and enjoy lunch or dinner (sometimes both).  You can take in a movie at the Pleasure Island Movie theater, or enjoy the view from above with a ride on the Characters in Flight hot air balloon.

If you golf, you can enjoy one of the Walt Disney World resort golf courses, and if you don't golf, explore the miniature golf courses available.  My girls love the Winter Summerland miniature golf course!

You could rent a surrey bike at Saratoga Springs resort, or head on over to the Contemporary to rent some sea racers or do some para-sailing.  You could also spend the afternoon at Disney Quest or lounge by the pool at your resort during the day, taking in Cirque du Soleil in the evening.

There are fishing excursions available, or you could do one of the driving experiences.  You might catch one of the various sporting events that takes place at the Wide World of Sports complex.

There is so much more to Walt Disney World than just the theme parks!  I hope I've touched on something your family might enjoy.

Have a wonderful time on the cruise - we love the Disney Cruise Line!
