HI moms & dads, I was looking for fun dining suggestions for a 8 & 9 yr old boy and girl for a 8 day trip in January with the dining plan. We will be celebrating both of their birthdays. They are starting to lose interest in characters:( Thanks

    Hi Alecia,

At around the same ages as your children, my son still enjoyed buffets. A great buffet without characters is offered at Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort and restaurant are sure to wow the young and young-at-heart!

Try a dinner show such as the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Make it an adventure by taking the boat from the Magic Kingdom over to Fort Wilderness.

Themed restaurants can also be fun. Coral Reef a view of the aquarium is a kid-pleasing restaurant in Epcot. Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge has barbecue meals that are served with some Old West humor.

How about a grown up dinner? Take them to the top of the Contemporary and dine at California Grill.

Do they have a favorite food? Have Mexican at San Angel Inn, Italian at Via Napoli or enjoy a steak at Le Cellier.

    Happy Birthday wishes!
