    Beth Asked

Hi Moms & Dads! My daughter is really tall and has great speech and vocabulary for her age. We will be visiting right before her 3rd birthday, will I be questioned about her age since she is still in the 'free' category?

    Hi Beth,

Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.  I felt the exact same way we visited Walt Disney World Resort a few weeks before my daughters 3rd Birthday.  She too had an excellent vocabulary, and was quite tall.  A few Cast Members asked how old she was, although I think I was ultra sensitive, because they still ask her age, and she is almost 5 years old now.  I did bring her birth certificate with me because I am a "worrier" however, her age was never truly questioned.

I'm sure you will not have any problems with regard to your daughter's age, Cast Members want you to have a positive experience, and will not want you to feel uncomfortable. They may ask you, but once you tell them your daughter's age, that should be the extent of the age conversation.

I hope your daughter has a magical third birthday at Walt Disney World Resort.  If you have any other questions please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We would love to help!
