Hello moms and dads. Are coming in Jan with Hb and kids 6,10 years. We are staying at Bc for 8 nights and will add 2 nights at either Poly or BLT so we can watch wishes and EwP and have easy acces to MK.Wich resort is most kids friendly??Thanks so much :-)

    Hi, Cattis!

    What a great plan!

Benefits of staying at BLT include a Theme Park View, which means that if somebody gets too tired to stay in Magic Kingdom for Wishes nighttime spectacular, you can watch the spectacle from your room! The soundtrack can be accessed via the TV in Theme Park View rooms, so turn up the volume and step out onto your balcony...in your pajamas. We've enjoyed hearing the approach of Electrical Water Pageant while at Bay Cove pool, then head toward the lake for a close-up view. The pool will be a big hit, and there's even Community Hall nearby, which includes video games, crafts, DVD rentals and shuffleboard. Sky Bridge connects you to Contemporary's concourse. There, you'll find shops and fan-favorite dining options such as Chef Mickey's, The Wave and Contempo Cafe. We also love having the option of walking to / from MK in addition to easy monorail access.

At Disney's Polynesian Resort, you'll find a different set of perks. Guests love watching Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes from the beach, perhaps after dining at 'Ohana or Kona Cafe. Nanea Volcano Pool is a great place for the family to cool off and there is even the Never Land Club, a supervised children's activity center, should you and your husband want to enjoy a quiet meal without the kids. Of course, monorail access to MK makes your commute super-easy here, too.

Decide how you'd like to enjoy EWP and Wishes, as well as how important access to MK is, then choose accordingly. Regardless, you'll get to enjoy some perks, such as dining, at BOTH resorts should you wish to do so. Win-win!

Send more questions as you think of them, Cattis; we love to help!
