    Brittany from OK Asked

My dad is a southern California resident, he wants to buy us tickets at the discounted price. However we are from out of state. Can we use them if he is with us when we enter the Disneyland Parks? He wants to know before he gets the tickets. Thanks!

Hi there Brittany and thanks so much for the question!

Southern California Resident Annual Passholders are permitted to purchase up to 5 additional passes for family and friends.  Your father will be able to purchase the Southern California Annual Passes for you guys, but you must be with him when you enter the parks to be granted admission.  He will need to be able to prove his SoCal residency when picking up the passes and upon entering the parks.  The first time you use these passes, you will need to have your photo taken, and your father will need to show his CA ID at this time as well.

Although Cast Members at the turnstiles do not check up on every guest, they definitely perform random residency checks on those entering the parks using the SoCal Annual Passes.  With that being said, as long as you are with your father when entering the parks, and he can prove his Southern California residency you will be OK!

Hope your visit to Disneyland is the most magical EVER!  Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions to assist in the planning of this magical vacation!
