    Tara from NH Asked

Can my Dad who is a Florida resident buy an annual pass for my children?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tara!

Florida residents get some of the most magical perks, so they can enjoy the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort more often. From discounted theme park tickets to special rates on Florida Resident Annual Passes, there are many ways to stretch those Disney dollars and get to experience the magic yEAR-round for guests that live close by.

Tara, proof of residency is required for guests age 18+ to enjoy all these pixie-dusted Florida Resident benefits. As long as your parents can provide this proof for purchase and activation of the passes, they should be able to gift your mousketeers with this very magical gift of Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes.

A few things to remember… Your parents will need to be present and have valid proof of residency to activate the passes the first time they use them. Depending on which Florida Resident Annual Pass they get, there might be block-out dates, so check those before planning a visit. Once the passes are active, you will be able to personalize the Annual Passholder complimentary MagicBand to use on future visits.

I hope this information is helpful! Please come back and see us again soon for any additional questions or planning tips.

    Wishing you a magical day,

    Emille ºoº
