My dad is a DVC member. He booked 4 villas at OKW. My parents are staying in 1, my family in 1, my brother's family in 1, and my sister's family in 1. Should each family set up their own My Disney experience to link everything to and to customize.

    Hello Dan!

How wonderful that your dad is able to use his Disney Vacation Club Membership for a big family vacation! We often take large family vacations with multiple rooms, and I think that My Disney Experience has made the planning much easier for large groups.

I think it works best to have each family set up their own accounts. For ease of making FastPass+ selections, each adult member of each family should also create their own personal accounts. Once everyone has created an account, they should link their own resort reservation, and link as Friends & Family with the other members of the larger travel party. While this may seem like a bit of work at first, once it is done, the rest should work quickly and easily.

Once you are set up and linked this way, when it comes time to make FastPass+ selections, one person in the group can make the FastPass+ selections for everyone! This is especially important for popular selections such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Soarin’ or to Meet Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall. The other good aspect of everyone having their own My Disney Experience Account, is that making changes on-the-go should be easy. If you need to make changes to your plans while you are on vacation, any member of your group should be able to use the My Disney Experience App to make necessary changes for any member of your group.

I hope this helps to answer your question, Dan. Please come back with any additional questions we can help you with as you plan your unforgettable Walt Disney World vacation!

    Wishing your family Membership Magic!
